Now that the holiday season is in full swing, you should be more cautious about the technology you use and how you plan to safeguard your clients’ information.



After turning a prospect into a customer, you want to maintain their trust by giving them excellent customer service. The last thing you want to happen is for their personal information to fall into the wrong hands. Skilled identity thieves may use different methods to get hold of this information. This can include rummaging through your trash to look for bills or other paper that would have personal information of clients, stealing credit/debit card numbers by using a special storage device, diverting the billing statements of a customer to another location by completing a change of address form, and using false pretenses to obtain personal information from financial institutions and other sources.
